Hello! It’；s Ginger from GingerSnapCrafts.com. Over on my blog I share simple &； fun tutorials &； ideas. I know if I can do it， you can too! Spring is finally here! Yay! I haven’；t started working outside in my garden just yet， but very soon I hope! We have started some indoor plantsbed pillow covers， &； my kiddos can’；t wait to start planting our garden this year. Today？I am so excited to be here sharing this simple Color Blocked Garden Pots tutorial with you using the amazing High Impact Mixed Media Paints from Tattered Angels. These paints are so fun to use， and they would be perfect for your next project. So let’；s get started.soft throw pillow covers
For this project I needed a？few supplies：
First， I painted my？pots one solid color! High Impact Mixed Media paint is the thickest paint in the Tattered Angels family. I love it! It’；s an？opaque paint that has？great coverage with lots of fun color. It also leaves a nice shine once dried. Fancy! Tip： Before you start painting make sure you shake your paint for best results.
I painted？two coats of paint on my pots. I let？the paint dry completely between coats. After everything was nice &； dried it was time to do some color blocking! It’s super easy. First I taped off the areas I？wanted to paint a different color. There is no right or wrong way to do this! You can do stripes， diagonals…..whatever you want! Have fun!
Then I painted the contrasting color on. I needed two coats to get a nice even coverage. After the paint had？dried I removed the tape leaving my？new designs behind.
The only thing left to do was to plant some fun plants. I’m trying succulents *again*! I think I’m the only one that can’t keep them alive! Do you have any tips？ If you do， let me know in the comments below.
It’s been so much fun being here! Are you？a social media junkie like me？ ha! If you are， you？can connect with me over？on？facebook， instagram or my favorite ~ pinterest!
